KYC/TALF Analyst
Top Financial institution is currently looking for a KYC (Know Your Client) analyst to join their TALF team. This is a contract position working on a project largely centered around remediating and building KYC files on banks, foreign financial institutions, funds, Investment Advisors, hedge Funds Etc. that have trading relationships and have been identified as correspondent accounts under Section 312 of the US PATRIOT Act. As well as performing and documenting periodic reviews of higher risk institutional customers. Will be working with Banker`s Almanac and WorldCheck
Candidates must pass strict credit and background check!!! Candidates must be flexible between Stamford, CT and Jersey City, NJ Locations!!
Job Description:
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Performing Enhanced Due Diligence on potential borrowers and associated parties
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Properly and timely escalate issues
Review and confirm all forms for proper information and signatures
Research both internal and external databases to perform required due diligence
Extensive interaction with Legal and Compliance, and Operations Facilitation team
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge with the USA Patriot Act Section 326, 312, 319
Self starter with strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple requests in a timely manner
Prior broker/dealer AML/KYC due diligence preferable
Prior TALF experience
At least 1-2 years of KYC experience; prior work experience with AML compliance, audits, etc;
CAMS certified a plus, but it is not a requirement.
Location: Stamford, CT/Jersey City, NJ
Compensation: 40 dollars per hour
